Basketball is considered an acceleration and deceleration sport that requires immense strength to facilitate the explosive power that is required for shooting, jumping, offensive and defensive pressure, rebounding and the many other demanded skills of the game.
BBT's training program is an innovative approach to training that was created for youth and adult athletes to reach their full potential, and perform their very best. We believe that athletes must train through the season, not just to the season. Any benefits gained in the off-season will be lost within the first month of in-season if training is not maintained. In addition, training must be a long-term investment. Just as a student develops an academic foundation in 7-8th grade, an athlete creates the performance foundation during the same period of time.
BBT creates a training program for all player levels. Our training programs are specialized to accommodate a wide range of skill levels. We can accommodate not only the basketball player, but any player in any sport. The training program involves speed, agility, strength and conditioning. Which benefits a player in any sport. Our program can be adapted to any player.
BBT's Workout Curriculum consists of:
Eight (8) continuous stations that train core strength, upper and lower strength, fast twitch muscle strength, explosive power, conditioning and arm strength. Speed training that builds the explosive first step needed in a off the dribble move and the quick changes required in the game.
